Understanding Readiness Threads

Readiness threads are where the Metaintro career agent gets to know a member. Learn what they cover and how to use them before your first call.

Know Where Someone Is Starting From

Every job seeker starts from a different place. Readiness helps the career agent, and you, understand that starting point so the advice and matches fit the person.

Where to Find It

Open the member from the Dashboard and select the Threads tab. Threads about readiness carry the Readiness tag.

What a Readiness Thread Covers

The career agent explains how it can help, with questions like whether the member is being paid enough, why they are not landing interviews and which of their skills are most valuable. It then asks where the member is in their career, with options such as:

  • Elementary or middle school
  • High school
  • College or university
  • Technical or trade school
  • Early career
  • Mid-career or beyond

From there, the agent asks about their background and what they want next, and builds out their profile.
