Why Intake Matters
A good intake means better matches and fewer wasted calls later. It is where you learn what the member wants, what gets in their way and what they still need to decide.
Step 1: Open the Member
From the Dashboard, open the Intake stage and select the member. Their Details tab opens.
Step 2: Check What Is Missing
Look at Search-ready. If it says Not search-ready, it lists what is missing, for example Work authorization unknown or Geography unset. The Profile percentage shows how complete their file is.

Step 3: Fill In the Basics
Under Basics, add their name, headline, contact email, phone, city, country, location label, timezone, languages and links.
Step 4: Record Constraints and Open Questions
Use Constraints for anything that limits their search, such as where they can work. Use Open questions for anything still to be decided. Both start at None.
Step 5: Read the Brief
The Brief tab has an AI-written summary of the member with where things stand, a suggested next step, a suggested opener, things to watch out for and questions for your call. It is marked AI-generated and unverified, so treat it as preparation, not fact.
Step 6: Move Them Forward
When intake is done, change their Pipeline stage from Intake to the next stage, for example Searching, and set a next action.
