What their customers say
Quotes from people at Ridge and Valley Charter School's customers.
“[RVCS] allowed me to connect with the community and my surroundings. It prepared me to become a role model for my peers and the people I care about.”
“I love that we were able to learn about math AND language arts AND science like other schools do – but everything was fun and many things were self-directed.”
“When looking back I value the personal connections I made the most. The teachers were not just people telling us what to do, they were elders who respected you and guided you. That allowed me to take responsibility and become a mature person who was able to speak, connect, and interact with people of all ages when others my age were not capable of doing so.”
“I am happy that I was able to have a unique school experience and was allowed to be different and have my own opinions. The teachers helped me explore my opinions further and helped me learn about others as well.”
“When looking back I I really appreciated being able to leave the classroom on a daily basis to move around and explore the outdoors. The hands-on learning approach really helped me to find purpose and meaning in what I was learning.”
