What their customers say
Quotes from people at Austin Urban Vet Center's customers.
“Not once, but twice has Dr Erin saved our sweet Truman’s life. Truman Is a 100 lb bucket of Labrador love who is sweet and unfortunately not particular when it comes to what he eats. Socks, marbles, dryer sheets, stuffed animals….. The list is unfortunately endless. I can not express the gratitude we have for the Austin Urban Vet team, especially Dr. Homburg!”
“Love Dr. Heidi and Dr. Erin! Both have worked so hard on managing my pittie’s insane health conditions for the past two years. She probably wouldn’t have made it this far without them! Thank you!!!”
“We have been taking our cat, Cora to Austin Urban Vet for over a year and I would recommend them without hesitation. The staff are always pleasant, friendly and so gentle when treating her. They discuss health issues and treatment plan in detail.”
“Possibly the best place on earth. I’ve been taking my dog here for about a year and we’ve gone for everything from your regular checkups to a life-threatening scare. Each time they treat her like the princess she is and I am beyond thankful for them. Trust me, my dog has literally been here for everything (not a bad mom, I swear… possibly a little over protective? who knows) and each experience has been wonderful. If you are looking for a place to take your pet, I hope you just found your answer.”
“Every time I need to schedule it’s easy to get my dog in at a time that works for me. The staff is extremely nice and you can tell they care about the animals there. On several occasions I have emailed the vet and she gets back to me immediately if my dog is ill. I LOVE the people at Austin Urban Vet!”

“I took my beloved Airedale there, he had some issues that were hard to diagnose. He was in Friday am for Xrays and I could tell he had taken a turn. He went downhill rapidly over the weekend, on monday Dr. Homburg gave me some bad news which I suspected as he really hardly moved after Saturday. It was inevitable. My sister flew out to be with me, my boss and a girlfriend stayed w me and Dr Homberg came to my house to set him free. He was able to leave surrounded by those he loved. I appreciate her for being able to do this.”
“I have the greatest respect for Austin Urban Veterinary Center. Dr Erin and her staff are very caring and skilled at taking the very best care of your pet. The Center is 5 stars plus…try it!!! Your pet deserves the BEST.”
“Our one and only vet for the last five years and we couldn’t be happier. Great staff, fun atmosphere and fabulous vets! Never a problem leaving our two very indulged and loved little monsters for an overnight or even a 10 day vacation because we know they will be given lots of time and attention. We are happy to have AUV so close to home simply because they are the best!”
“This is the best vet I’ve ever had and I’ve had animals my whole life. Dr. Erin Homburg is thoughtful, thorough and spends the time it takes to take care of issues and arm you with the information you need to keep your animals healthy and happy. She’ll call you back, answer emails and addresses any and all concerns when it comes to the health of your animal. Plus she’s fun! The staff is great too! They’re all friendly, smart and thoughtful. I wish I could give them more stars. Hands down the best!!!”
